20 Jul April – July 2018 Market Update
We have felt some pretty chilly days during these winter months and seen rain aplenty. While listings are in short supply, it is worthy to note that we have seen a marginal increase in median prices for Auckland from the previous month of May. The year on year median price decrease of 0.7% for Auckland Region seems to indicate that prices during the cooler months may be marginally pushed up due to demand and lack of stock. Interest rates are still fairly low which is still attracting buyers. Housing supply remains a consistent issue with so much demand. It is probable that we will continue to see increases across the country while Auckland seems to be showing a trend of stability and steadiness with her prices.
So what do you think? Is winter a good time to sell? Check out my website under the ‘Selling’ tab for some further information.
I look forward to being of further assistance to you in the near future!
