07 Feb Oct – Dec 2018 Market Update
There are many speculations as to what is going to happen in the future. Predictable patterns may give us an inclination as to what may or may not unfold. But truth be told, it is difficult to predict accurately what we will see in a year from now.
So when we look at the current facts we see a market that portrays itself as stable. There is still a supply and demand issue prevailing and housing shortage is still high on the priority list. Paradoxically we note that despite this we have seeing a cooling in parts of the market. North Shore has seen a median price drop of 11.6% compared to December 2017. And North Shore volumes of sales have been the lowest since December 2008. It is clear there are several and varying factors influencing the current market condition.
Thus many are in a state of limbo, not quite knowing whether or not they should sell or buy at present. The best time to sell, is when you are ready to sell. Whatever market you find yourself in, work with it and a positive result will ensue. Choosing the right agent is now, more than ever, key to your success.
I would be delighted to assist you to move forward with your decisions and provide you with all you need to make an informed choice in our current market place. I would love to hear from you!
